Synopsis
A story of love at the Triple Frontier between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. On the Paraguayan side, the son of a tobacco magnate, on the Argentine side, the daughter of a firework manufacturer. Between the families is a history of division, born of class differences and a pyrotechnics accident that torched a tobacco plantation. Between the children, undying love. But loves not the only thing that lies between them. There’s also the Iguazú River, a militarised border and the sperm-filled container smuggled across in a soft-drink freezer, in a quest to put an end to their historic family rivalry for good.
